Welcome to First United Lutheran Church!
Welcome to First United Lutheran Church. We are centrally located on Mockingbird Lane in Dallas, TX. First United Lutheran Church has been a part of the Dallas community since 1923.
As members of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (ELCA), we believe that we are freed in Christ to serve and love our neighbor.
Our church holds worship services, every Sunday at 10:30 am, and we offer a variety of programs, in which you are welcome to participate.
We grant scholarships to local music scholars, from SMU, UNT and UTA, who perform during worship. We have a Bible study and Sunday School, we host lecture series and musical performances, the Crafty Quilters make quilts which are donated to those in need, and we are always looking for new ways to serve the community.
For nearly 100 years, First United Lutheran Church has been working to make a positive impact, both in Dallas and through missions abroad. Worship is at the heart of all that we do. We gather as a community of faith on Sunday mornings, and are sent out into the world to do God’s work, following the teachings and example of Jesus Christ.
We welcome you to visit us and join our community of faith regardless, of your age, race, gender, life experience and questions. If you are looking for a church home, a place where your faith will be nurtured, we invite you to worship with us on Sunday mornings. You have a unique story that can only add to the richness of the larger story of our church. There is a place for you here!
